    Green gram is one of the richest sources of plant-based protein. Green gram is rich in iron, folate, carotenoids and other bioactive compounds that are vital for optimal health.


    Bengal gram contains a good amount of iron, sodium and selenium and a small amount of manganese, copper and zinc. It is also a very good source of fibre and folic acid.


    Black gram has a higher protein content and it is a great source of nutrients like isoflavones, vitamin B complex, iron, copper, calcium, magnesium, zinc, potassium, phosphorus, and dietary fibre, all of which have a variety of health advantages.


    Flavonoids, which are present in cumin seeds, act as antioxidants and help neutralise free radicals, which cause cell damage. Cumin seeds are also a good source of vitamin A, calcium and iron. Cumin seeds aid in digestion, provide iron, perhaps improve blood sugar regulation, and possibly lower the risk of food-borne infections.
